Fletcher’s Chimney and Fireplace is a small company in business in Franklin Township operating since 1990. Owner, Dean Fletcher and his wife Lynn, make up the entire workforce. Our company's unique focus is diagnosing and correcting masonry and gas fireplace and chimney problems. Examples of the scope of our work would include: gas fireplace repair, water leaks through and around chimneys, cracking and deterioration of chimney brick or stone, fireplace smoking, odor and draft problems, and restoration of fireplaces that do not meet the National Fire Protection Agency standards. I am one of the few people in the area certified by the National Fireplace Institute as a gas fireplace specialist.
As a National Fireplace Institute certified gas specialist, I service and repair all brands of gas fireplaces. Other companies sell gas fireplaces but few will inspect, maintain and repair them. I service all brands including: Superior, Lennox, Majestic, Vermont Castings and Monesson.
To accomplish these goals I draw on 36 years of experience in building and repairing masonry fireplaces, continuous training from the Chimney Safety Institute of America and the National Fireplace Institute and modern video inspection techniques. Because of these resources that I have been blessed to have, I fell that I can offer lasting solutions to most fireplace and chimney problems. The perspective and attitude that I try to bring to each job that I do, comes from Psalm 119:105 “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”.

An excellent option to a traditional open fireplace is a wood or gas burning insert. These inserts will produce more heat than an open fireplace and often be a solution to correcting existing flaws in the fireplace.
We can guarantee against leakage through our flashing because we bend and embed the flashing into the structure of the chimney.
When chimneys and fireplaces are found to have flaws and conditions that do not meet NFPA standards, we can offer solutions to provide both improved performance and safety.

We have successfully built masonry fireplaces for 37 years. This depth of experience combined with training from the Chimney Safety Institute and the National Fireplace Institute ensure we will meet your expectations.
The National Fire Protection Agency has set the standards by which inspections must be done and also the standards that fireplaces and chimneys must meet in order to be considered “serviceable”.
WE FIX GAS FIREPLACES
There are lots of companies that will sell you gas fireplaces and log sets but very few who will inspect, maintain and repair them. I am a National Fireplace Institute certified gas fireplace installer who specializes in gas logs only.
